BIC is delighted to offer the book industry an extensive and exciting variety of training courses covering a broad range of the supply chain and new skillsets.  Our trainers are all highly respected experts in their field and repeatedly receive excellent feedback from trainees. In addition to our existing courses, we've collaborated with (and continue to collaborate with) a number of UK publishing houses to find out what training areas they need us to concentrate on most. We've also been continuing our great work with BlueBird Consulting (Production specialists) to bring you a number of new courses in 2017.

Once enough delegates have registered there interest in these courses, BIC will liaise with the interested parties to arrange a suitable date for the course to take place.

Advanced ONIX for Books

NB: In order to attend this training course, delegates should previously have attended the BIC training course, "ONIX: Esentials" (formerly BIC's Bibliographic Metadata & ONIX training course) (see below), or have extensive experience with ONIX gained over several years.

Prior to booking your place on any of our training courses, please take a few moments to familiarise yourself with our refund policy: 

Refunds may be given as follows:

  • Up to 1 calendar month before the event: full refund
  • Less that 1 calendar month, but more than 1 calendar week before the event: 50% refund
  • Less than 1 calendar week before the event: no refund.

NB: Tickets are transferable within your organisation.
