Mapping orders from your library management system to EDI

This guide starts with the library LMS and shows how a purchase order can be mapped into the EDI order message in the two main formats (Tradacoms and EDIFACT). This guide provides a useful introduction to the BIC EDI guidelines.

EDItX XML Specifications for Library Supply

A full suite of EDItX XML library supply messages has been drafted. The Library Order Version 1.2 and Library Ship Notice/Order Fulfilment Notice Version 1.0 and associated schemas can be accessed here

Drafts of the Library Quotes, Library Order Response, Library Order Status Enquiry, Library Order Status Report and Library Invoice messages are available on request from BIC.
